I was never a reader of poetry to any great extent, nor a writer of the same. However, around the first part of January 1995 someone said that something I had written sounded poetic. "Really". I thought that was interesting and began to write poetry. To my surprise I enjoyed the experience and there were quite a few who enjoyed reading it.
