MERRY CHRISTMAS
with the full meaning of this season to those of faith, different faiths, and those without any faith
Below is a Christmas Eve sketch, The Check Is In The Mail, a thought to the fact that I had not gotten my Christmas cards out yet. Also is a link to Christmas Poetry 2008, which has Christmas poems with one for Hanukkah. If you use this link, A Christmas Statement, you will find some of my views on Christmas. I am neither a scholar or philosopher, just a simple-complex man on a pilgrimage. The arrogant atheist, more honest agnostics, or the cultural Christian is free to read or ignore. My feelings will not be hurt. We live in a world where at Christmas we urge the belief in Santa, but deny Jesus or where we claim faith, but live our lives in (as my friend Bern says) in fear and not love.
I wish you not only Merry Christmas, but the peace, joy, and love that goes with Christmas and may it be yours as we move toward Two-thousand and nine.
God Bless Us Everyone
Danny
