that is your life

as you are twenty and four
scores into it
yet life is only just begun
take God's Hand
let Him lead you each day
read His Word
take the time
to meditate on it
to humbly before Him pray
seek not your will
but His
and you will find
when you become old, gray
that life was worth living
that it had fizz
these things I think of
pray about
as I prepare
in love for you
your birthday to celebrate
the cocoa bean and the coffee bean.
